𝒬 82. What is the communion in glory which the members of the invisible church have with Christ?

𝒜. The communion in glory which the members of the invisible church have with Christ, is in this life,1 immediately after death,2 and at last perfected at the resurrection and day of judgment.3

  1. 2 Corinthians 3:18

    And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit. (ESV)

    And he said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.” (ESV)

  3. 1 Thessalonians 4:17

    Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. (ESV)
