Q 131. What are the duties of equals?

A. The duties of equals are, to regard the dignity and worth of each other,¹ in giving honor to go one before another;² and to rejoice in each other’s gifts and advancement, as their own.³

1 Peter 2:17

Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the emperor. (ESV)

Romans 12:10

Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.

Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. (ESV)
